Northeast Colorado Health Department is seeking a Community Health Specialist working in the Youth Substance Prevention, leading a youth-focused community coalition using evidence-based prevention frameworks. This position supports communities in promoting mental health, preventing substance misuse and reducing violence through effective programs and policies.

This position’s duties include coordinating coalition workgroups, developing evaluation and sustainability plans, and ensuring prevention strategies meet local needs.  The role includes partnering with multi-agency partners, as well as recruiting and guiding youth and adult coalition members to build capacity and drive community-led outcomes.

Travel throughout the six-county region (Logan, Morgan, Phillips, Sedgwick, Washington, and Yuma) is expected.
