Depo-Provera is a shot that prevents pregnancy for three months. So every three months, you will need another shot to avoid becoming pregnant.
Contraceptive Ring – A small flexible ring inserted into the vagina every three weeks to prevent pregnancy.
Birth Control Pills – These have been around for 50 years! You take one pill at the same time every day to prevent pregnancy.
