About NCHD
The Northeast Colorado Health Department is a rural public health workforce made up of just over 40 staff members.
We cover 9,200 square miles of territory with an office in each of the six counties.

We have proudly been serving Logan, Morgan, Phillips, Sedgwick, Washington and Yuma counties since 1948.
At NCHD, our mission is simple: protect health, and inspire prevention.
But achieving that mission will only work if we’re working for what northeast Colorado needs.
We invite you to take a look at some of the programs and services we offer and get to know your local public health agency. Because if we’re not working for you, we’re simply not working.
